Shoes are great when you need them, but we wear them too much. Walk barefoot on a wooden floor (if possible) and outside on the grass or rocks. Feel through the soles of your feet from heel to toes. Spread your toes and wiggle them. Rock on your feet, forward and back, side to side. Rise up on the balls of your feet. Lean back into your heels. Then plant your feet firmly on the ground and feel how much steadier you are. Ground into the earth. Let your feet be like suction cups or magnets, pleasantly weighted yet not heavy. The more you plant yourself, the higher you rise 🙂
